The Options program was created to address
our
mission of
providing quality mental health services regardless of a
client’s ability to pay. This program serves children,
adults and families who are ineligible for state-funded
services, or do not have adequate insurance coverage or
the financial resources to pay for counseling through
the private sector. The program is unique in seeing
people who would otherwise have no options for care.
Through the Options program, MDS provides much needed
services to countless children, adults and families
every year. More than 70%of our Options clients have
annual incomes under $20,000.
Services are provided by both our highly skilled private
practitioners and our graduate-level interns. Options
clients receive the same excellent quality of care as do
all of our clients, without regard for how much they
pay.
