Maria Droste in the Community

2016_Kamler Bridge Builder

May 16, 2016 – Sue Kamler, former private practice therapist and current staff member, received the Bridge Builders Award from our neighbors at The Center for Spirituality at Work. The Bridge Builders Award recognizes Sue for her work in connecting with people who are often marginalized and need someone to build a bridge to services and compassionate care. Please see the attachment from the program describing Sue’s contributions and the award she was given.

Sue has served Maria Droste in so many roles since she first became involved with this organization in 1994. She saw clients in her private practice here for 21 years, and served as the Director of Intake Services (now Access Center) for 20 years. Sue is currently our Lead Administrative Assistant, bringing her warm and welcoming spirit to the front desk to greet any clients and visitors at Maria Droste Counseling Center. We are so grateful for Sue’s heart of gold and her dedication to the mission of Maria Droste Counseling Center through the years.

Congratulations, Sue! This recognition is well-deserved! Thank you also to the Center for Spirituality at Work, for your mission to unite diverse peoples for spiritual transformation and social justice.
