Our Impact

STRENGTHENING OUR COMMUNITY

Our Reach

We provide affordable, high-quality counseling to children, teens, adults, couples, and families throughout the Denver metro area.

Our Focus

We work to reach people who face barriers to accessing mental health care, including individuals and families with low incomes, people who are uninsured or underinsured, communities of color, and others who have historically faced gaps in access to care.

Our Model

Maria Droste's unique model addresses both sides of the mental health access challenge. We provide affordable therapy to people who need care today while training the next generation of clinicians through our graduate Clinical Internship Program—expanding access now and strengthening the behavioral health workforce for the future.

How We Make An Impact

Increase Access to Exceptional Care
Mental health care shouldn't depend on someone's ability to pay. We're proud to offer sliding-scale counseling for people with or without insurance, regardless of immigration status. Our services include mental health counseling and substance use disorder treatment, helping more people access the care they need.

Provide Culturally Responsive Care

Quality care starts with understanding the whole person. We provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed care that respects each client's identity, background, experiences, and community—and teach our graduate-level interns to bring these principles into their future practice.

Break Language Barriers

People should be able to talk about their mental health in the language that feels most comfortable to them. Our bilingual therapists help expand access to care in multiple languages, while we continue working to reduce language barriers throughout the counseling experience.

Grow A Sustainable Workforce

Growing Colorado's behavioral health workforce is only part of the challenge—we also need to make it sustainable. Through graduate training, quality supervision, and an anti-burnout culture, we help clinicians build healthy, lasting careers serving their communities.

Partner with Our Community

Access to care can mean bringing services closer to the people who need them. Through school-based services, embedded providers, community partnerships, and integrated care, we work to meet people where they are and reduce barriers to getting support. We're continuing to grow this model with schools, community organizations, shelters, healthcare providers, and other partners across the region.
